86 c/10 or 87 r/10

Well guys im in a dilemma , I have a chance to buy my buddies 86 swb...it has a 6 inch lift mud tires ....rebuilt 350 and new 700r4 tranny....interiors semi done....he's in a bad situation ...that's the only reason he's selling it for $2000.... or should I drop the cash into my 87 and fix it up more....please let me know your opinions....thanks and God bless

Buying cars from friends is always a bad idea, in my opinion...if something goes wrong, or later on he regrets selling, he might get pissed, or whatever.

Thats really hard to answer with out more details and pics. Unless you can afford to do both, I would focus on the 87.

If your buddies truck is in good shape and you can afford buying it then I would go that route.
