C35 front brakes
The front brakes on my dually feel a bit "grabby" but not when you lightly put the brakes on but when your nearing your stop. it's not affecting my ability to stop. but was never like this before it was parked for about a month or so.
any one ever ome across this? Also the front Pads have lots of life on them.

I have the same problem on the opposite end. If the truck sits for even a couple of days the rear brakes will be grabby for about 3 or 4 stops. Then it goes away and it is fine as long as it is driven daily. I am kind of wondering if the proportioning valve is freezing up or something.

Surface rust on the rotors causes them to work as if freshly turned w/a rougher surface. More friction = more bite.

Typically returns to 'normal' once a few miles have passed & the brakes have been cycled a few times to knock the surface rust off.
