Factory Tach Wire Length
I wanted to see if anyone had a factory tach wiring harness out of a truck, that they could measure the overall length of the harness. I'm looking for the length from the tach mount to the coil plug.
Thanks in advance! Nate

Re: Factory Tach Wire Length
Nate-I just received a tach harness from M&H wiring yesterday and man it's nice. I am glad I spent the $23. not only does it have the correct color, but it has the firewall groumet and correct connections for HEI.(no, I don't work for them!)
Anyways, I measured the brown tach lead from the back of the tach to the distributer and it measured 108". Now does anyone have a picture of where the tach wire goes thru the firewall so I can drill in the correct place?.Thanks Steve

Re: Factory Tach Wire Length
Thanks a ton Steve!
I have a pic someplace of the proper hole... I'll see if I can find it and post it up asap.
