1967 seat pic for vectorit
I think this may be the style you are looking for. This is in a 67 i am parting. The bad news, after i took the cheesy cover off, i think this is too nice to cut up. Here is a couple of pics anyhow. I think i better save this seat. Sorry i couldn't help. Eric

Re: 1967 seat pic for vectorit
yep, that's a version I am looking for.
That there folks, is a TRUE OEM 67/68 seat cover design. If you decide to recover the seat, ask the upholsterer to remove the seat/back covers in one piece. Then PM me! BTW: The color of that material is exactly what my burb came with.

I will keep you in mind. I also have a plain jane 68 gmc that i will part this spring when the snow leaves, but i can't remember what seat was in it.

Quote:
The material used for the 67/68 is really nice, so nice it's very expensive to buy. Personally I think 68 was the last year Chevrolet offered such a nice material for the seats. Hence, why reproduction seat covers with it is not reproduced. (at least I haven't found a vendor selling them). The pics above do not do the material justice, since they are over 40 years old and dirty.

Re: 1967 seat pic for vectorit
![]() Anyway, that is a really neat looking seat pattern. Does anyone know what the fabric pattern is, or if it was used by any other GM divisions?

Re: 1967 seat pic for vectorit
My 68 with buckets has like a marble brown, that's like 2-3 different tones, it's pretty wild lookin...
Since it's all ripped up, I'm think a nice Houndstooth kinda setup. |
