The bolts are welded to the tub so to remove them you basically have to ruin them with a grinder. The other option is to lift the body as a complete unit, swap the mounts, then lower it straight down as a unit. That's the way the factory did it but with machines. The problem is if/when you need to add a spacer to just one or two bolts, you have to completely lift the body again straight up and repeat, etc. Basically impossible, a waste of time at best, just get new bolts.

So i just did the same thing on my new to me 71 blazer. I put energy suspension body mounts in and now door hits at top of wing window and some at latch area. So if i read the diagram right i need to add shims at body mount at front and rear of door to get the body to flex up right and it will give more gap?
