ENGINE swap
How hard is it to swap a Lm1 350 and take out a 283. Maybe the better question is, WHICH motor would you rather have for a daily driver? Thanks for your help.

Re: ENGINE swap
What's an Lm1? LT1 maybe? That's what I'm putting in my 63 and I'm putting a 5.7 TBI engine on my withs 66. My brother has put the LT1 in his 78 and he really likes it.

Re: ENGINE swap
I also don't recognize the Lm1 350. If it is a Gen I or Gen II small block, it will fit the same as a 283. They're both small blocks. If you can clarify the Lm1 350, we can be of more help.
