Needing pictures of 67-68 chevy C-50 cab with out the front wrap

Needing a picture of a 67-68 C-50 cab with out the front wrap.Wanting see what the firewall look like,and what needed to weld,so i can put a 1/2 ton front end onto the C-50 cab.

I don't have a pic to help with but sounds interesting.I do hope you realize that the doors are also different so you may have to swap out front cab pillars also.

here you go.. as you can see the firewall is much deeper, the outer lower firewall is recessed rearward to clear the large tires, the steering column comes out of the firewall lower, the brake booster is lower, the front cab supports also sweep back instead of straight out.. and all of the lower fender mounts are different than a standard cab

cut the fron of a 67 68 c10 and put it on a 67 68 c50 cab and you should be good

Hmmmm, I never really gave it much thought. I always figured the cabs were pretty much the same. I woulda thought with all the years I crawled under my brothers C-50 wheat truck i woulda noticed. Learned sumthin new today.

Thanks-Livrat for the picture of the C-50 i can see what i'am up against. I don't think i can do that good of a job welding and cuting. I guess i will go with plan 2 a 55 chevy 2-ton cab on a 70 chevy 4x4 truck frame.Should look mean and tought.
