Need recommendations for hard-core drag forums:
Can you think of any hard-core drag forums?
Yellow bullet has closed their registration(?) Can't figure out why? ClassRacer has rejected my application---because it doesn't meet their "requirements?" (again---???) If you can figure out how to contact Yellow Bullet without using e-mail to figure out why they aren't accepting new registration, that would be helpful. |

Re: Need recommendations for hard-core drag forums:
Don't know about classracer but Monte had to close the YB because the place was growing expotentially and it was costing him a fortune in bandwidth. Not to mention the problems allowing the riff-raff in unchecked. A site that size takes on a mind of it's own and is almost uncontrolable. After it became nothing but a porn-fest I only go there for the articles <grins>
Nastyz28 has a lot of heavy hitters, and lots of serious racers in the Comp section. Super73 hangs with some heavy hitters. Know he has some ideas also.

What about SpeedTalk? I found a few threads worth checking out on that site too.

Re: Need recommendations for hard-core drag forums:
Thanks to all for the suggestions and the heads-up concerning YB.
i just got rejected by CompetitionPlus. i've sent them an email asking why. i'm thinking maybe the reason i got rejected by both sites is due to my yahoo email---too generic? i've never had this much difficulty trying to register for any webforums. i'll try the other suggestions. The reason why i want/need to go hard-core is because i've basically decided that my next car will be tube-frame in lieu of the previous plan of taking a stock chassis car/truck and running as fast as possible with it and then moving to a tube-frame racer. |

Re: Need recommendations for hard-core drag forums:
Chevelles.com has a bunch of heavy hitters. Nastyz28 is a good one and speed talk is another. Theturboforums is a good one. Stevesnovasite.

Re: Need recommendations for hard-core drag forums:
There are a few drag racers here and a thread for talking drag racing and nothing specific may net you some good info. I have been doing it over 35 years and have built lots of cars over the years from all round tube door cars to street cars. I have a dragster now that runs 7.40's. I will be happy to help any way I can with info.
