Re: Best way to raise the bed floor
i prefer the totally flat look of the bed but i dont want a bed that shallow, so my compromise is going to have to be a notch cover, i am going to try to make it blend together really well, we will see what happens !!

Is there any company out there that makes prefabricated inner panels for the bed? I was thinking I might be able to get a "pro-street" sheet metal kit or something like that but no luck. I can make my own just thought it would be easier if there was a universal kit... already checked competion engineering and Jegs. |

Re: Best way to raise the bed floor
Here's some pics of one we did. Raised the floor 3", stretched the tubs four inches, added a small notch cover. We raised the floor up to the body line and drilled and bolted it back in place. That was the eay part. We wanted to the tubs to bolt in also and appear as factory as possible. We had to account for the contour of the bed side as it gets closer to the top... LOTS of work, but came out nice.

Re: Best way to raise the bed floor
wow nate that looks really nice. I've already determined I'm not going to be able to do this part of my build without getting a bead roller.
