Are GMC dual headlight bezels unobtainium? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I picked up all of the following for my truck today...

$25 Caprice license plate bracket
$20 Chrome GMC dual headlight grill with grill support panel and wiring harness (missing the bezel and letters)
$5 Aluminum 64-66 Chevrolet grill shell
$15 Steel 64-66 Chevrolet grill with backing plates
$5 L & R upper radiator support braces
$30 Hood with lights (no dents, has pitting/rust damage but not rusted through)
$25 Passenger inner fender (only surface rust, no pitting or rust through)

I didn't really need any of it except the plate bracket, but sometimes you just can't pass up a good deal on excellent condition used parts.

Possibly. I find the new one are a rear Bi*ch to get set and fitted just right, maybe something was resized with teh new head lights. Also I think I may have a set of the 60-63 GMC letters I think they changes in 1964-66 with ared line in the middle.

Only the '66 letters were different
Good score on the chrome grill,I only find painted ones around here

Maybe I'm mistaken but are we talking about the headlight rings or the larger parts that goes around both headlight , if so I have a spare set and can part with, email me off BB

I'll take a pic of my grill tomorrow...now I'm not so sure it's missing that part....if that's the case, boy will I feel stupid.

The part I'm talking about is the "cover" piece of sorts that goes over top of both of the headlights. This following image is stolen from Surfdaddy of his truck...I think I need the rusty part of his grille

Yep, Those outter shells can usually be found on ebay I hace a spare set if needed, if that what you need
