Rust of above the windshild on a 56 how hard to fix?

Looking at a 56 truck it has slight rust in thee usual spots. Above the windshild on the driver side there a little rust out.How hard is it to fix? Could get by with bondo. The truck runs no brakes, would 800 be to much? Should i hold out for a better cab?

It's hard to say without pics. If you have the skill all of it can be fixed. I think Kabwe changed the whole top of his cab.

If you have rust through there you can be sure its in other spots waiting to poke through around the windsheild inside and out and down along the pillars. Bondo traps water when you go over rust with it and it usually makes it worse. If it has a title in his name then $500 would be right. no title its a parts truck $200 at best

Yes Kabwe did.lol But Kim57, you know I'm nut case because I fixed it good enough, but good enough is never good enough for me. When I found out they sold replacement roofs I just replaced the whole roof. This is how it was fixed before I just went ahead and replaced the roof.
