Add a leaf ques 87 GMC v2500 4x4 longbed
I picked up some alum slotted 16.5x9.75 wheels.
From what I have read I need a 2 inch minimum lift to put 33x12.5x16.5 tires on my 87 GMC v2500 4x4. Will add a leaf kits work front and back? Is there a prefered brand? Truck will not be off road and I want to keep the height as close to stock as possible. Thanks. |

They will fit with no mods needed. If it were me I would test them then go from there. If you find you need more lift pull a set of rear springs appart and stack them into your sping packs.

After I polish the wheels and buy tires I will test fit before buying any lift.
Pics of the truck are here http://mysite.verizon.net/vzez7fh7/ Current heels are steel with plastic hubcaps. Photo is from 2002 after paint but trucks looks pretty much the same except for a few scratches etc from use. Truck is garaged when not driven. Thanks for the input. |
