Chopped and bagged 64' short bed build
I guess it's time I started a build thread. What i'm working with is a pretty solid 64.
The chop is already done and 95% fInished. I have been driving the truck for about a year as is. I tore into it about a month ago and got the frame on the chassis table to start the frame work. The notch is almost fInished up and ive started some frame bracing. Ill be fabbing a 4 link, running either my own version of a dropmember or buyin one from nate, and layin frame on 22's. I'm gonna stiffin the frame and probably run discs out back. Motor is a mildly built 350/350 turbo Criticism is always welcome Posted via Mobile Device |

You can't post about a cool chopped top truck with a modified frame and suspension without posting pics.

This is the truck, before I tore into it. It is chopped, and running a static drop with cut springs, not a nice ride.

I am hoping to get some different wheels, if there is enough $ left in my wallet. I'd like to get 22" centerline smoothies.

Re: Chopped and bagged 64' short bed build
Had just a couple hours to work on the truck yesterday. Started prepping the motor to get it ready for paint. I think I will color match it with the body, and I don't know what color that will be yet!!!
I also sectioned 1 1/8" out of the frame to bring the front bumper in closer. |

Well it sounds really cool, lol. It's simple, and I like it better than a chain.
