Tires for 18" Rims ?

After an appropriate amount of time searching the board I'm still without a clue as to which size tires to put on my truck, which is lowered 2/4.
It seems simple enough, rims are 18" TT2's, 8 on the front 9.5 rear. 4 and 4.5 bs if I recall. But whenever I ask the tire shops they seem flummoxed, offering up seemingly unlikely choices.
Is there anyone running 18's with suggestions and/or pics?
Now I see why the young fellas buy their rims and tires first!
