What kind of mileage yall getting with 3/4 tons with the 6l?

I read somewhere that those with 4:11 axles get in the mid teens, but pull trailers better. Those with 3.73 axles get in the high teens to low 20's sometimes, but suffer in the towing ability.
Guess it is hard to have it both ways -- but I'm wondering about the new ones with the 6-speed automatics. Supposedly it is a double overdrive which might give both advantages. I dunno! |

12 on a good day. its also 4x4, and that makes a little difference.
