Help with VIN tag.

I need some help deciphering my VIN tag. Some of the letters/digits aren't matching up. This is exactly how it appears on the tag.

G.M.C. TRUCK
MAXIMUM GVW RATING

7500
VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
CE20D ZA15695
DD

Thanks for any and all help.

Thanks a lot, I like to keep little things like this on record in the glove box for my use or any future owner.

Re: Help with VIN tag.

Welcome to the forums!
Some interesting things on your truck, the VIN is of a 2 wheel drive (conventional cab means 2 wheel drive) GMC, but it is on a 4X4 frame with a 71/72 chevy nose, Your wheels are off a 70's/80's full size jeep cheroke, and is that a ford ranger bed?
Looks like you put her through some hell in the mud... how'd it do?

Since my very first introduction thread I've uncovered more truth about my truck so here is the accurate rundown:

69 GMC cab
69 Blazer chassis and drivetrain
71 Chevy nose
The 79 Jeep Pickup the wheels came off of is still sitting behind the garage
Yep, it's a ranger bed. Everyone loves (or hates) that about her.

Recent ridiculous family trouble has left me ready to kill people on a few occasions. So here's the morning after one of my 11 PM "jump in the truck, play some pissed off music, and rip through the pond" things. High beams and no mufflers. My neighbors hate me.

Re: Help with VIN tag.

I wasn't sure if it was a ranger bed, or a jeep pick up bed.
Some guys have installed a shortened stepside bed on blazer frame with truck cabs and it looks good. A flatbed would look good too.
I'm all for a mix and match truck, but that ranger bed...
at least it was painted to match!

Re: Help with VIN tag.

Well let me just specify that I'm not a huge ford man at all, late 70's broncos are really cool but.. eh thats about it. The bed was put on by my grandfather years ago, and he had to do all kinds of custom mounts and widening to it. If I had my way about it, I would have used a Power Wagon bed.
