just letting you know, Good Chilton catalog?

seems like an oxymoron but I actually found a good Chiltons catalog , A guy at Carlisle Truck meet had a bunch of new catalogs and this one is about an inch thick and covers 80-87 Fullsize GM trucks, part number 28622 . The main reason i say that it is good is because it has many of the exploded views of componets like the Haynes Manual but this one has all the electrical schematics and and all the vacuum hose routings. I always see guys asking for vacuum diagrams on the forums and god knowss these model year trucks had plenty. good luck .DAVE

Nothing beats a GM factory service manual. I got mine for $35 from www.ebaymotors.com. I see manuals there all the time. About 2" thick and plenty of pictures.
