S10's and Ebrakes...

I'm currently using a highly modified S10 pedal ebrake setup in my conversion and was seriously looking at the old style hand levers. There's a guy down the road that has one in an old 1 1/2 ton that I've been eyeing.

I know they're normally in the middle of a cab and with modern transmissions wouldn't fit well... anyone ever built one into an S10 conversion with it beside the outboard side (to the left of the brake pedal)?

Cheers,
Ted.

Ive been thinking of doing this, ive got a setup out of a VW bus I was going to use but im not sure how/where to set it up with the TH350 in the way. It looked like it would work out perfect though with the factory S10 cable setup.

How about a hand brake that's attached to the bottom of the dash like on 60's trucks? I'm not sure you'd have enough room over by the kick panel...but I'm guessing you're plenty capable of making something that will work...

Dunno... there's just something about that hand brake with the lock lever on the top... I'm thinking I can make it work and well... just gotta pull out the book and see how it's set up and needs to be modified.... and if the guy wants to sell it!
