How bad did I thrash my hatch, DIY 2 fix,
I screwed up really good on this one. Was so worried about getting the truck out of the uphill backyard cesspool of sinking clay that I forgot to lower the hatch. Caught my okie extension cord in a tree setup, the cord gave as much as she could then the top broke. Is it possible to fix this where it will be solid and or better than new sttregnth wise?? EDIT: please become a paid subscriber to post WTB's...

Re: How bad did I thrash my hatch, DIY 2 fix, any1 have one extra in their backyard?
A good fiberglass repair job will make it good as new...if you still have the texture on it, I've seen people use the canned texture with great results of matching the original.
Doesn't look like a terribly fun job, but definitely worth salvaging if you ask me.
