Windshield Washer Woes - What is this?
I started to trace the tubing for my windshield washer and found this device. It is hanging off the firewall near the master cylinder. The tubing from the washer jar runs to it then two tubes out to the cowl. It has two electrical connections.
Is it an external washer pump? If not, what is it?

Re: Windshield Washer Woes - Was it this?
yep, old aftermarket pump or came off another car...just replace it/remount a new one, replace your tubing...clean up the wiring and you should be good to go unless you want to go back to factory then that one is different and connects to your wiper motor under the dash (that likely went out and they bypassed it for the easy fix. Best of luck. Roger
