Tilt column for trade

I took a tilt column out of my 72 GMC that is in great condition that I wont have any use for.
I replaced the indicator and the turn signal lever over the years.
It works smothly and is in nice shape just wanted to put the non tilt column back in the truck that was original.
I do not know how to tell truck from van so do not know the difference to say what it is.
Would do partial trade for a tach dash (8cyl) or also looking for a original 4 bbl intake with 72 q-jet, all brackets and 72 points distributor (basically the top of a 71-2 350)
I will take pictures of the column tonight and post them here tomorrow.

Re: Tilt column for trade

I would be interested in buying it for the right price for my 72 GMC 4x4. Sorry, I don't have much to trade right now. If its the original column out of your truck that would be great. Thanks, Dan

I. All for sale or trade ads must include the price. If you do not know the price of the item(s) you are selling, then you should do some research. Absolutely no auctions or bids.
Please post a price for the item. That way people wanting to trade can see the value you are looking for your item in trade. Thank you!

Re: Tilt column for trade

Once you post a price I have a tach dash I would consider trading if it is in fact a true truck tilt.

Re: Tilt column for trade

How about $200.00 (still cant say that it is a truck or van but will post pictures tomorrow)
It is not the original column out of the truck. The truck was originally a non-tilt and the previous owner changed it to a tilt and painted the column the olive green to match the interior of the truck.
Again there isnt anything wrong with it and it works perfect, I just wanted the truck as original as possible so I put an original non-tilt back in.

I'll take it pending pictures. Do you want to swap for a tach? I have a nice driver's quality one, and a super nice restored one to choose from...will post pictures or email them to you if you are interested.

Re: Tilt column for trade

Now I don't know if I'm the first guy or not. Starting to pick up interest now. I know you were first looking at making a trade but if you don't, I'll buy it regardless of pictures. I figure if it was in the truck and worked fine and wiring plugged in then it will work in mine. I'm not crazy about the olive green but a couple cans of black paint will solve that. Let me know if you decide to sell it. Thanks, Dan

Heree are the pictures of the column.
I taped the shift lever and turn signal lever on the column so I wont lose them.
Let me know after you guys have had a chance to look at them if you are still interested and I will go in order of request from your first posts.
Also I will be away from the computer today and will get back to see who is interested either much later today or tomorrow.
Thanks

Re: Tilt column for trade

Looks factory to me. I will take it depending on where you see me in line

And I am willing to either pay for it outright or work out a trade for a tach dash. whichever you prefer.

Re: Tilt column for trade

Karhpan was first in line so I will give Dan the opportunity first.
If he decides to pass on it then va72c10 is next in line and yes I wouldnt mind having a nice driver quality tach dash depending on cost.
Crash Ed, if you want to sell the top end of that 72 350 I am interested in it whether I get down to you and you would be 4th in line after mcbassin.
Thanks
