aftermarket A/C vents IN DASH, not under....lets see them
I am going to be putting aftermarket A/C in a new to me '66 and really want to find one of the center dash factory ac vent assemblies. but in reality i would like to put three or four vents spread across the dash, some thing that looks like it could be factory. I really dont want any billit street rod vents or "custom van from the '80s rear vents"
lets see and hear suggestions. I am not opposed to modifing something to fit. |

Here's a previous thread. The first pic in the thread is the only one I've seen that fits your description. We've been discussing the possibility of hiding one behind the ash tray - or just replacing, etc.

The 67-72 trucks are easier to find with factory A/C. Maybe you can retrofit the side vents (round chrome ball inside a plastic housing) and the cool metal rectangular center vent from one of those trucks? It would look factory, and the factory vent hoses would slip right on.
