Almost ready!

I finally got the shortbox almost ready to put the cab on - got rid of the old cab today, it was pooched, Nothing good on it. So it went to the scrapyard. finally down to the frame. Now I can start putting the cab and all the panels onto this one. I had the longbed all together, then I found the shorty for only $70 bucks. Frame is in really good shape, just needs a little bit of wire wheel attention on the back end. Should have the cab pulled off the longbed, and then the motor and tranny out of yet another truck, and all onto the shorty frame on Wednesday! I still need to find a bed floor and sides (fleetside) though. Things came up so I can't go to the big swap meet in Iola, WI. this weekend either, that really sucks! Probably able to find a bed there for about $300! rust free! Oh well, what can you do?
