rear brake relocation after rear gas tank instalation.

Ive installed the rear suburban gas tank in my 1987 chevy longbed and its a half ton if that matters at all.

so i had to take the rear brake line bracket off inorder to put the gas tank on. now heres my question if any of you had done this can you tell or show pictures of where you mounted the brake line bracket.

I need to shorten the brake line to. how should i go about doing that?

Thanks in advance

Any pictures you can post? You can buy custom length brake lines at the auto parts stores that should help you out in this.

Could i just cut a piece of brake line out and put a flare nut on each side of the line?

You could cut it and use a brake line union, like the one that connects the long line that goes along the frame rail to the front.

Yeah, you're going to have to bleed them. I have a complete set of lines coming from Inline Tube, but you can also get some at Oreilly's and Autozone, I believe they sell the same ones.
