AM Radio Converted

I could have sworn that I saw on this forum that there is a company that will take your AM radio and convert it so you can connect MP3 / iPod devices.
I looked through the Truck Audio section and saw what Frizzle Fry had done - looks great, just not sure if I have the patience to do that.
I like the way the old radio looks and was hoping to keep it that way. The PO had installed an AM/FM converter which works okay. (You can see it under the heater control).
I may have been dreaming that, any help would be appreciated.

Re: AM Radio Converted

The guy's name is Hagan and he's in PA. I'm not sure where my info is on it. I tried google and got nothing. There is a member in MD who bought a new am/fm repro they now make with all those added capabilities. The conversion gives you 180w. Hopefully someone else will fill in the blanks here.

Re: AM Radio Converted

This article in FAQ might be of interest.- "73-87 Delco radio with aux. input added" Yes its the wrong generation, but the same principal can be applied to your stock radio.
