Shortening a LWB
Is shortening a 72' LWB frame to fit it with a 72' SWB involved, difficult, ruin the value, wise, or should I continue my search for the "right" 72' Fleet SWB. The reason I ask is that I have found a nice project LWB color white and orange w/ factory air....running but rust in the usual spots, price is $3500.00. Thanks for any of your assitance and or opinions.

It is a involved project that takes patients!! Bill Turner sells a template kit that shows you were to mark and cut your frame. He has done this and they even ran a article in STREETTRUCKS mag back in early 2000. If you can weld and cut a strait line it can be done cheaply!! 909 926 1729. Ask for Bill tell him James from KY sent you!!! Good luck.
