I wanted one when I was in high school and finally got one today! My question is does anyone know what power booster/amp you could use on one of these. Guys used to hook amps to them but I don't see how you could hook this up. Just 4 wires and no RCA jacks. Anyone remeber?? Thanks

yes I've seen it done, with the head units fader almost off to the rear channels,,
but remember back then amps where speaker level, untill you got into the $$$$$$$$ equipment..
they still make them but market them as amps to add to your factory radio..
all they are is speaker input amps.

Re: Old school Pioneer KP500

Thanks. I did finally find some info on the internet. You are correct, "speaker input amp" is what is needed.
