Thanks Gikken20.

I really won't be able to drive it for awhile until spring and my wife's rig inhabits the garage in the winters so I'll stick with interior projects (Seat recovering, steering wheel, maybe dash repaint) for now.

I'm also going to practice with my MIG welder (Hobart 135) to see if I can get good enough to tackle some mild rust issues.

But, at this point I just have to wait to get out of the clouds from getting this to evaluate where to go from here. I already like the "ratty" look and the stance so I'll try to keep it a driver while I work on it.

that's what my girlfriend hears everytime I bring a new project home. This time I really meant it...and somehow I wound up elbow deep in bags and a body drop, along with 2 1/2" donor trucks. Clean looking truck though, Good luck with her.
