Looking at a 2dr yukon . Opinions needed

Its a 1994 gmc yukon 2dr with the 6.5 liter diesel engine. has 166 k. rust on the driver side cab corner (common area up here in the north) and needs brake work. He's asking 2,200 obo. I want this truck to put a solid front axle in and lift for offroading. What do you guys think is a good offer and anything to look out for? Thanks

Looks pretty solid. I would offer 1800 and see where it goes.

IIRC the 6.5 diesels in those were not too common (production totals)

offer a little less and see where it goes

dont think that would be a good off-roader with the 6.5 in it, its a pretty low output motor, but in a 2 door yukon/Tahoe, they're capable of 22+ MPG

Yea they defiantly aren't a powerhouse but will get good mpg that's for sure lol. I was thinking 180o$ and go from there.
