Finding out about the options

I been reading up on finding out options, 2 of my trucks have SPIDs missing or half ripped off. Years back i was building Trans ams, and i got my info from PHS (Pontiac Historical Society). Is there a site for these trucks like that? I had to pay $45 for the info, but it was worth every penny.
Send them the money, and the vin, and in 2 weeks i had my packet of info.

Re: Finding out about the options

I understand if it was built in Canada, then it's possible. In the states, probably not going to happen. If you don't find the build sheet, then it's very likely that you won't know specifically what it had when newly built.

Beyond that, there's a board member who makes SPID sheets that are identical to OEM SPID sheets. You should make a list of all that your truck has and he will make you what you need. For that matter, you could have it read like you'd like it to read.....paint, engine, and trim-wise.

Re: Finding out about the options

I was reading about that, and I will probably do that. Just can't see what some of them were, and the build sheet is long gone.
