67-68 Grille disassembly question
In the process of cleaning my grille up for paint, and I just have a question. What's the best way to get these rivets out? Just drill them out? How would I get them back in? Thanks.

As said, drill from the back side the bit will be centered for you. I used 1/8 bit on my 70/71 good luck . cheers, Pat

so, after you drill them out.... what method do you use to re-install them. Nuts and bolts? new rivets?

there are kits they look like rivets (all smotth like a baby moon) but the back has threads and you bolt them....or you can re rivet them.....

I had my insert powder coated and plan to use rivets again...
