Drop Spindles or Drop Coil Springs?
I just bought a 71 project truck to play around with, and was wondering if it is better to put 2' drop spindles with new tubular arms or just go with a 2' drop coil springs. I see there are lots of package deals with both options but not sure if anyone has suggestions. I have a 454 BB so it is a little heavy. I want to go with a 17 inch wheel tire combo, so I think that will clear any wheel/fender issues.

what kind of dough you wanting to lay out?? if money wasn't an object, go spindles. with them, the geometry of suspension is maintained and will be easier to align.

I'm running a 5.5" Drop in Front and a 6" drop in back, but I'm running a Small Block.

Spindles. If you want it any lower, then add the springs. It's all about the geometry!

Thanks for the info that helps me decide which way to go. I think going with spindles/brake upgrade would be better, but definitely going to cost little more.
