Aluminium grill restoration

I am looking for anyone that knows of a shop that would restore a aluminium grill for a 1965 C10?

You just needing it polished or what? If there aren't too many dings in it, i'd do it.

Re: Aluminium grill restoration

I Googled "Brite-Dip, Arizona" and came back with these shops in Phoenix:
http://www.mppgroup.com/arizona.html
http://www.thelindgrengroup.com/brig...anodizing.html
http://www.smf-az.com/

What kind of shape is the grille in? You might be able to either work out any dings/dents yourself or these shops listed above may provide that service. The prep work involved almost rivals the work involved to chrome a part, so labor could get a little spendy on a beat-up grille.

Another thing to remember is that if the grille has been hit hard enough to stretch the metal, especially in the mesh area, that may not be easily fixable and could be obvious even after the repair and replating.

Google Brite Dip, and there are a lot of hits that come back. One in particular that explains the process was this:

Let me know what you find out, because I'm interested, too!
