Lt1 swap

So, the 305 is no more. I found a wrecked 94ss impala and got the motor, trans, wiring and every accessory and bracket i could think of. and started going at it. So far it has been mostly a bolt in project, but alot of time was spend undoing the previous owners "good" ideas.

Re: Lt1 swap

I also went from a 305 to an LT1 in my 48. Mine is a 95 Vette version.
I still don't have mine on the road yet, but I bet it will be a nice HP boost.

Good luck
Marc

Re: Lt1 swap

Looks like no A/C. Are you going to add it? If so, what are you going to do for compressor location? The stock location is all in the frame rail.

Ok I see the username, so I gotta ask.

What kinda Buick, and are you a v8buick.com member?

I've got a 71 GSX tribute and go by the same handle over there.

Re: Lt1 swap

I'm planning on using the delete pulley for the ac. The truck doesn't have ac.

I have a 67 skylark had it since high school. It was my first "Cool" car. I have let it go for so long its pretty rough now. But Its in the someday pile.
