After having to sell my old 65 to avoid impounding 2 1/2 years ago I finally struck a deal today to get me a new truck. It's a 63 C20 with a 350 out of a mid 70's truck with headers, a 4 speed on the floor, and actually runs. Just got to do fix the clutch, fab radiator brackets, and bleed the brakes and will have a drivable truck after such a long time without one. Here is the first pic of it

Looks like a nice start to me. The fact that it runs is a real plus, too!

Getting it in exchange for remodeling work. Gotta get the work done and get the behemoth moved to my driveway before I start even thinking about tearing it apart.

the truck in my avatar was a cross between a 63 lwb fleet gmc and a 65 chevy short step.

congrats! And as much as it may pain me to say it, nice Model A F#$^ sedan in the background too!! Now you've got two keepers (if that's yours, I mean - if not, it still looks good!)

Actually it isn't a F*rd. It's a '29 Dodge and unfortunately... not mine

Oh man that's great! I think the '63 grill is slowly becoming my favorite grill out of the whole series!

Finally got the tank home. Was definitely an undertaking. Took about a week to finally get it off the trailer and in my driveway. Had to borrow a truck from a complete stranger for $20 just to get it here.

Will post more pics tomorrow with the truck in it's new home.
