Need Help With Tie Rods

I am in the process of reassembling the front end of my 70 1 ton GMC after paint work and all new parts. I'm having a problem building the inner/outer tie rod assembly.
It would seem that I have ALL reverse thread tie rods. Shouldn't the inners be conventional thread and only the outers be reverse thread? The part # on the package indicates that I have the correct parts and they match the numbers in the catalog but the original assembly looks different. They also appear slightly different from the outers so unless there's more than 1 supplier, I'm pretty sure I don't have 4 outers (but hey, anything's possible).
Any ideas??

Re: Need Help With Tie Rods

Outers should be LH thread.
Outers should have the grease zerk screwed into the top of the tie rod end.

Inners should be RH thread.
Inners should have the grease zerk screwed into the end of the tie rod end.

Re: Need Help With Tie Rods

That's what I thought. Seems I have 4 liters then. Strange though. I have 2 with part #es358L and 2 with part #es358r. According to the book, that is correct but they all have LH thread and the grease fitting is on the cap on all 4.
