new engine

hey i'v still got the original engine in my 72' and i think the 200k+ miles finally caught up to it so I need some ideas on what i should get for a new engine. thx

All depends on what you're lookign at $ wise and skill wise. For the most part a new GM crate motor with warranty is hard to beat for value.

A GM crate ZZ3 puts out 345HP i believe. That would be sure to light up this tires

Shop around for reputable rebuild shops and ask them what they can give ya for $5k. You can get a lot for that!
