What is this seatbelt out of?

I am missing my driverside seatbelt and this is the one on the passenger side of my 71 C10. All the other seatbelts I see on the site for sale have taller style retractors. This is a shorty and I like it! I would like to know if anyone knows what this is out of ? It has a model number on it of #2900 and under that it says 15-A-69
Thanks! Matt

Re: What is this seatbelt out of?

I am 99% sure that's a passenger side cover for a blazer. They had the shorter ones for you to get in and out of that side easier with the seat tilted forward.

Re: What is this seatbelt out of?

Late 60s, early 70s. I don't know exact years. I think the elcamino covers are a little more plastic than the blazers. I will try to post a pic later.

Re: What is this seatbelt out of?

Its been a while but that looks like what I took out of my 1971 Monte Carlo. I know I've used the other end in my pick-up.

Re: What is this seatbelt out of?

I have a box of monte carlo parts someone gave me. The seat belts look just like that shorter one. They're going in the 62.

My 71 Monte had that retractor but my 72 Chevelle does not. Funny. I wonder if it was a factory thing. If I remember correctly the 71 Monte was a KC car as is the 72 Chevelle so strike that idea. The 71 Chevelle came out of Van Nuys and also has the retractor above.
