Blazer Windshield Frame - Lowered Price
Up for sale is a nice, rust free windshield frame with original paint. Its cut at the bottom of the A-pilars. The frame had some minor rust at the outer passenger corner and top of the passenger A-pilar, but I replaced these sections from pieces cut from my other donor frames. I left the repairs in bare metal to show that no body filler was used. The buyer can cherry it out with a thin skim coat of filler. The frame is in overall excellent shape. The one item that still needs attention are three welded nuts on the inside of the driver side that were broken off the inside of the frame when someone removed the top.
I am asking $275 + shipping for the frame as is. $300 + shipping with the three welded nuts repaired. |

Re: Blazer Windshield Frame - Lowered Price
Yellow93Z71 - Shipping would be approximately $382.69 via UPS.
Dirt1972 - Shipping would be approximately $133.84 via UPS. I say approximately because I have not packaged it yet since neither one of you indicated if you wanted the weld-in nuts fixed or not. Packaging may add a pound or so, as I will be attaching cross braces to the A-pilars to keep them from getting bent. Yellow93Z71 has first shot. Dirt1972 has seconds. Let me know if you are in or out. Thanks. |

Re: Blazer Windshield Frame - Lowered Price
Eric - Looks like I have it sold to Dirt1972. Sorry, but I needed to raise some coin for my Blazer resto.
You will shocked when you see how much of my truck I have cut away and replaced. Seems like half of my truck has gone out in the recycling bin on trash day chunk by chunk. I would go after a small spot and then keep going until I found the end of the rust. The outside metal work is completed, but just tack welded in place for now. I will finish weld and grind later. I have replaced the entire rear half of the bed floor and supports, and am working on patching the front bed floor half now. I replaced both wheel wells, and removed all of the old rocker boxes and associated braces from underside. I have another set of rocker boxes and braces being shipped to me now. When I'm done, the Blazer will be rust free. I am going to treat all of the metal with POR15 or Rust Bullet, apply seam sealer everywhere, have the entire inside and outside painted, and then apply a sound deadener like Fat Mat on all the floors and bedsides before carpet goes back in. A lot of work, but worth it for a solid truck. Besides, I couldn't afford to pay someone to do all the work I'm doing! |
