very, very cool...just curious, what kind of gas mileage would an old V-6 and a truck like that get? heck, if it were anything decent i'd probably consider having you find me one if i could just sell my truck...i'd even trade + cash if someone was willing...those are just some cool old trucks

Re: couldn't pass this one up!

hey dino,

so ive been pretty much stalking your threads this week, and i need your opinion. rite now, i have a pretty decent 63 lwb fleetside. i really wanted a swb anything and i recently came across this 61 swb panel. its a little beat up and has no motor or trans. but its everything thing ive wanted for an early 60's c10 and i could swap parts over from my 63. the guy wants 950 for it. with your experience, you think its worth it for price and to swap parts??

Re: couldn't pass this one up!

alrite, thanks for the advice!

regarding the front suspension... i hear you can swap the whole crossmember similar to if you use a crossmember from a 73-87 crossmember for a 63-69. id like to do that because i just installed CPP's grandslam kit. BUT i see that you got 6" down with the T-bars on this 60. how's the ride with that? and do you know if you can keep the T-bars and still do a disc brake convo??? i guess i could use the search button but you've got a lotta knowledge

Re: couldn't pass this one up!

So what's the chance you'll buy it back..... Pretty cool truck!

I'm going to look at a '61 short wide with factory black paint this weekend only draw back for me is it's a small window. I like the BBW better, but it might still be worth trying to get a hold of.
