Re: please drain fuel safely

I remember reading a news letter from a club i was in SOTO (vw trucks&bus's) I had a single cab truck (61) anywho, letter was about a member who was working on his gas tank feed line to the pump . he pulled the line off&it started to leak gas so he grabbed a hub cap to catch the gas& slid it under the motor it made a spark when it hit the ground and that was it total fire in seconds. he got burned(from the fuel on his hands) this happened in his garage! the truck was also burned up( it was later repaired) the garage had a little damage (just lucky the truck was pushed out of the garage) sorry for the long post. we all can learn from this tragic story.
