Arrow 8K Tachometer setup for guys with high performance engines!!!

I have a new 8K tach setup. This is all new except my nicest original stock gauges. For those with higher HP motors that can turn more rpm's

New chrome and black bezel
New lens with 8K lettering
New inner tin
New outer tin
New printed circuit
New 8K tachometer
New Tachometer wiring harness with correct firewall grommet
New lightbulbs

Super nice setup that runs 699 plus shipping from LMC

Asking 499 picked up 520 shipped including the tach harness.
I can substitute a woodgrain bezel for the same price if you prefer that.
Please post interest in the thread...not by pm. First to state I'll take it.

Interested. Is the tach made for that application or is it a conversion from another vehicle / application? How accurate are they? thanks.

Re: 8K Tachometer setup for guys with high performance engines!!!

This tach is made for 67-72 trucks specifically. From what I've read they are more accurate than the factory tachs were and are.

Do you know if the 8k tachs run well off of HEI distributors? I've heard a couple issues about the 5k aftermarket tachs going up in smoke when used with HEI. Not sure if these were isolated incidents.

What, no one needs an 8K tach? Everyone is okay with a measly 5K j/k

Re: 8K Tachometer setup for guys with high performance engines!!!

Do you know what all would be required to make it work with a 6.0 from a 2006 silverado? As far as signal conversion modules and such? Also is there any way to do them with white faces with black numbers instead?

I am not sure to be honest. I will try to call the mfr today to see if I can get that info. I have only seen the 5K white faces. Try whitegauges.net to see if they can do something for the 8K...

I have two factory 5K tachs with white faces I'm getting ready to rebuild some complete setups for.
