Big Brake Setup
I have been looking around for front and rear big brake kits. I am leaning towards Mcgaughys. I do have questions though, once you buy the kits can replacement rotors, calipers, hubs etc be purchased from a local auto parts store etc. I would hate to have the truck sit while waiting for parts if I were to break down.
This would be for 73-87 front and 65 rear in case you guys had other suggestions |

i have the kit its all gm stuff only drawback is no dust shield but truck stops on a dime, its ridiculous.....

Ive got a set to match the McGaugys front big brake kit.. uses c5 c/6 calipers and rotors and internal parking brake. Just like the McGaugys rear brake kit, the axle flange needs to be modified. The bracket kit is 160 shipped. and the thread can be found here:

on the mcgaughys kit everything can be bought from your local auto parts store accept the hubs i think you will find that to be the same on the other companies parts out there thanks tim |
