Where to get 15x10 original style wheels

I am looking for some 15x10 original style wheels. I just need the plain wheels with that the dog dish caps fit on. I can find rally's but not the regular ones. I checked wheel vintiques but I cant tell by the picture which style I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Where to get 15x10 original style wheels

To get ones that look like the originals you'll need to find a place that builds custom wheels. The ones offered by Stockton and Wheel Vintiques are similar but not at all the same. That Stockton wheel doesn't even have vent holes.

That rots. I was hoping the Stockton had a stock appearing look. A wheel without the vent holes just looks unfinished IMO. I've tries twice to get ahold of Wheel vintiques about vent holes on their 8 lug OE but no one's gotten back to me.

Call the guys at Rally America. They use original factory centers to make the width you need.

Re: Where to get 15x10 original style wheels

Widening wheels has been a part of the hot rod car scene for years. I remember articles in the "Little Books" about it. All it takes is money, unless you can do it yourself.

Re: Where to get 15x10 original style wheels

I widened a pair of truck rallys once for myself just to see how it'd come out. I didn't have any special tools mind you. Just a torch, stick welder and grinder. I did mount the wheel to an extra spindle I had to spin it and check the runout as I tacked it in place. When done I had the only set of 10" wide truck rallys around. Everybody had to know where I got them. They were used on numerous trucks over the years. I loaned them to a nephew some years back and haven't seen them since. As a matter of fact I haven't seen the nephew in a few years either...

be careful if you choose to do business with Stockton wheel ... LOTS of complaints out there in the "traditional hot rod" world on these guys
