Looks like a case of "it doesn't matter what you paid for it, it matters what someone is willing to pay you for it".

I think they will have a hard time getting $2500 for what is basically a bunch of small scale replacement parts.

Lots of stuff there. he will have an easier time selling it individually as opposed to a package.
