Put some more parts on the Katrina truck

It has parts of a front end, aluminum radiator from a 95 Chevrolet fits just right, fender, fuel pump.

Re: Put some more parts on the Katrina truck

I did make a previous post that kind of introduced the truck, but the long term plan is to get it put back together completely, insure it and drive it. I have a decent stepside bed in pieces that I'm going to put on it. Right now I just want to get the driver fender and hood put back on and cover the engine, since it has to sit outside. It has been a slow process, but I'm making progress!

Re: Put some more parts on the Katrina truck

hey katrina...its usually alil easier to just keep updating your origanial post/thread than to keep making a new one for each part that goes on the truck...
that way people here can see the progress and know where u started from...
just a thought and god work on the truck..
any detailed pics on the rad? and did you have to do any mods to make the 95 fit?

I added the pics of the fender and the fuel pump to the original, I should have done that to start with but wasn't sure what was proper form!

As for the radiator, its a 1995 Chevrolet c1500 aluminum core plastic tank, and fits the core support with no mods at all! The lower hose for a 1984 pickup clears the frame nicely.

Question Re: Put some more parts on the Katrina truck

Can you give more details on the radator please. How about some pictures. I will have to change mine soon it looks like and this maybe a better choice if it's as easy as you say.
Looks like a great build on it so far.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
