Front drum woes
Well, the back wheel cylinders were easy enough to remove and rebuild with the two bolts behind the plate, but the front is another story. Is the one 1 1/8" bolt on the anchor pin the one thing holding the cylinder on? If so, the thing is locked on pretty good. I've tried a breaker bar, naval jelly, WD-40, and an impact wrench, and nothing is budging. Anyone got any experience with this?

I feel your pain, but that 1 1/8" monster is the only thing holding the cylinder on. Make sure the locking tabs are folded out of the way. I managed to get mine off with a wrench, a cheater bar and my 250#!

That brings back memories. WD-40 and a breaker bar and some patience.

Been there done that, got the scars to prove it.
Try some PB Blaster...10 times better than WD40 ever will be. If you want to spend the coin, Mobile one makes a kick ass synthetic penitrating spray, but I been told 1 can is close to 20 bucks. It works like magic though. |
