...finally got me a Lokar 5002 dipstick w/ tube to replace my aftermarket one that came with the truck. Anyways, how did you guys install your Lokar dipstick tube? Don't want to mess it up that's why. Do I need to tap it or it just fits right in? It doesn't come w/ the O rings so yea...wondering if you also used some solution like RTV silicone to it. Thanks in advance...

I am pretty sure mine had rubber o rings but maybe im thinkin of the tranny dipstick....

ya my tranny did and i just popped it it should be the same for the oil i believe

...by hand or you used a rubber mallet? Did you put some RTV silicone too?

Did anyone have to take out their lower tube or the Lokar 5002 fit right in without doing so? I'm asking because, I have no idea how to take off the lower tube and may lack the necessary tools to do so. Aye!
