67 C-10 New Engine??

So im restoring my chevy pickup, its a c-10 1967 and the original motor in it was a 283 with a 2 speed powerglide. I want to put a 383 stroker motor in it with a 4l60e tranny. How hard would this be to do.

And im trying to decide on a fuel pump. Im thinking of going with the standard 1721 110 gph 6 psi or the victor series 1711 that is 130 gph 13 psi but requires a regulator. Would it be worth it to upgrade to the victor series and get a racing pump???

SHould be able to find mounts for it to bolt right in only thing i would look into is the length of the tranny you might have to move the cross member if so you will have to figure out a new driveline i put a 95 whipple charged 454 in my 70' with a 4L80e and all i had to do is move my cross member and everything else lined up for me.

Not sure about your trans, but as far as a fuel pump goes, I used the 1721 because my engine builder recommended it to be sufficient to my purpose and my approx. 400hp. Unless your a racer or require huge fuel, save some money. My thoughts. 1972 short/fleet 350/350 4/4 drop.10 year hobby.
