How low with CPP bolt in notch?

How low can you go with a CPP bolt in notch. I currently have 5 inch rear springs and I am wanting to get 2 in blocks but I am not sure if can go that low or not with the bolt in notch

You can. I have 5" drop springs and 1.5" blocks, no c-notch (I have it, but not yet installed) After I put in the notch, I plan to go with 2" blocks.

Re: How low with CPP bolt in notch?

I have 5" springs, i have 3.5" of clearence between top of axle and lower point of chassis, so if i add 2" lowering blocks i will only have 1.5" of travel, not enougth,

Measure twice cut once,

I was going for a c notch but i think i will only add a step notch a year later, so step notch it is for me,

Welcome to the forum Jhuff85. Can we assume you have an 85? Please tell us what year truck. It would really help if we knew what size tire too.

I have cpp 5" rear springs and 2" cpp rear blocks with cpp c-notch - it has lots of room (of course this is on my '68- don't know what year truck you have)
